This book was created on December 7th, 2007 for the purpose of keeping the Wikipedia article on VINs under control. It will start off as a consolidation of all VIN-related code tables that were included on Wikipedia.

The final state of this book will most probably consist of the full explanation of VIN-obtainable information, and how to decode said VINs.
